Your Stay, Our Commitment

Into the Woods

Check-in starts at 4 PM, and check-out is by 11 AM. You will receive detailed instructions for self-check-in via email a few days before your arrival.

Occupancy

The maximum occupancy is 6 guests.

To maintain a healthy and comfortable environment for all our guests, pets are not permitted in or around the property. While we adore animals, we've decided to keep Into the Woods pet-free to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of everyone who stays with us.

Pets

Into the Woods is a strict non-smoking property. Please refrain from smoking inside or around the cabin or surrounding area.

Cancellation Policy

To ensure the upkeep of our property and provide a comfortable experience for all guests, we require a security deposit.

Deposit Amount: A refundable security deposit of $250 is required at the time of booking.

Refund Conditions: The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days of check-out, provided the following conditions are met:

Cancellations made 30 days before check-in will receive a full refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in.

Parking

It is important to note that there is a slight hill at the entrance to our driveway that will be tricky to navigate in the winter without 4-wheel drive. The driveway will automatically be plowed when 2" of snow or more fall, but we do not recommend you visit in the winter months without 4-wheel drive.

Security Deposit

Deductions: In the event of any damage, missing items, or excessive cleaning, appropriate deductions will be made from the security deposit. A detailed explanation of any deductions will be provided.

By booking with us, guests agree to the terms of the security deposit policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

- No damage to the property or its contents. Please notify us of any broken glass or serving ware. You will not be charged for this type of incident.

- No missing items.

- No excessive cleaning required beyond the normal wear and tear.

- Adherence to all house rules.

Liability and Safety

- Always be aware of your surroundings and follow the established trails.

- Use caution when interacting with wildlife and avoid feeding or approaching animals.

- Follow all safety instructions for using amenities such as the firepit and grills.
In case of emergencies, please contact local authorities immediately and inform us as soon as possible.

At Into The Woods Vacation Rentals, your safety and well-being are our top priorities. However, we must disclaim liability for any personal injuries or property loss that may occur during your stay. Guests are responsible for their own safety and are encouraged to exercise caution, especially when exploring the natural surroundings.

Safety Guidelines:

Cleaning and Maintenance

We strive to provide a clean and well-maintained environment for our guests. A cleaning fee is included in your booking to ensure that the cabin is spotless upon your arrival.

Cleaning Expectations

- Gather used towels, including those on the back of bedroom doors. If damp, hang on a bathroom hook; otherwise, leave them on the floor in front of the washer/dryer.

- Dispose of all trash and recycling properly.

- Place all recyclable materials in the kitchen recycling bin.

- Load dirty dishes into the dishwasher.

- Remove any leftover food from the refrigerator and freezer.

- Return board games and books to their designated locations.

- Ensure the propane gas tanks for the grill and fire table are turned off (turn clockwise to tighten).

- Replace the covers on the gas grill and fire table.

- Store outdoor chair cushions in the deck bin.

- Unplug any portable space heaters in the upstairs bedrooms.

- Set all thermostats to 50° and ensure all lights and the fireplace are turned off.

- Close and lock all windows and doors to help keep the cabin dust-free.

- Report any maintenance issues or damages to us promptly.

Ongoing Maintenance

Regular maintenance checks are conducted to keep the property in excellent condition.

Please inform us of any urgent maintenance needs during your stay, and we will address them as quickly as possible.

Your information is used solely for managing your booking and improving your experience.

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except as required by law or for processing payments.

Data Security

Smart Device Policy

While it's not a common issue at the North Shore, we need to make it official: parties and unregistered overnight guests are not permitted on the property. To ensure a peaceful environment for our neighbors, please keep outdoor voices and music at a low volume after 10pm.

For your convenience, we provide Alexa devices in the kitchen, primary bedroom, and large upstairs bedroom. These devices are intended to offer a source for music, white noise, and playing games. Rest assured, we respect your privacy and do not use these devices to monitor conversations or invade your privacy in any way.

We find Alexa to be extremely useful and wanted to extend this convenience to our guests. However, if you are uncomfortable with the devices, please feel free to mute or unplug them during your stay.
