This home was magical. We loved the private and beautiful setting. The inside was well appointed and everything that you could possibly need was there. The host was even kind enough to leave us a little treat. If you are on the fence about going to the North Shore or staying here, please know that this home is a destination in itself, and you will be enchanted by it and love every second.

We went to into the woods for a weekend with our family, and we had an amazing time! Every part of the cabin is well-designed, and we enjoyed all of it. The decoration is very cozy, and the cabin has all the necessary appliances and kitchenware. We could listen to the birds and smell the forest from the balcony and the fire pit. Additionally, the location is very convenient as you can enjoy the solitude from a cabin, but it's also close to Grand Marais, several hiking trails, and canoeing spots. We highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

It’s hard to find rentals that offer good design and is family-friendly, but this cabin does! It was beautifully renovated and designed, manages to be cozy, comfortable for the kids, and had everything we needed for a weeklong stay in the woods. We loved the sound of the creek, the birch leaves rustling in the wind, and regular visits from a deer friend. It was convenient to everything that Grand Marais and surrounding areas have to offer, and we also enjoyed a rainy cabin day. We plan to return!

We’ve been staying in Airbnb’s for 10 years and this may be the best we’ve ever done. So beautiful, great amenities, cozy, and all around a wonderful experience. Everything you could need to have a great time is there. And the property is stunningly beautiful and peaceful. Danielle was incredibly responsive and helpful. We couldn’t stop talking about how much we loved this place. 10000% recommend.

Another amazing stay at Into the Woods! This was our second time staying here and the property was even better this time around! They added a very nice fire pit and seating area in the backyard, complete with excellent lighting. Danielle and Steve are the most wonderful hosts and made such an effort to ensure we had the perfect visit. If you're thinking about booking this cabin, don't hesitate! We absolutely loved our stay at Into the Woods! The cabin was clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and tucked away in a lovely location in the woods. Danielle was a great communicator and all of her instructions were clearly communicated and easy to follow. We appreciated that this Airbnb was so family friendly. There were lots of games for our kids to play and even outdoor swings. Every evening at 4 pm, twinkle lights would turn on outside and the whole place truly felt magical. The proximity to hikes, the lake, and restaurants was another bonus of this place. We loved staying here in the summer, sleeping with windows open. We would love to experience it in the winter as well, and hope to return one day!

This cabin was everything we could have dreamed of and more. What an incredible and cozy space. Everything was spotless and perfectly thought out. If you’re planning on cooking during your stay, this place is extremely well stocked and has anything you could need. We’re so greatful for Danielle’s hospitality and hope to come back someday!

Wow, this cabin was an absolutely perfect winter stay. We were looking for a peaceful winter retreat tucked into the north woods, and that is exactly what we got. The cabin itself is an incredible mix of modern and quaint and was extremely cozy; the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with local recommendations for snowshoeing and cross country skiing; and the town of Grand Marais has so many spots to try. By the end of our weekend, we were all talking about how we'd love to come back next winter and how this was our dream cabin. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at this charming Scandinavian cabin in the woods! We were attending the Winterer Gathering and Arctic Film Festival that happens every year. What a fantastic event! Highly recommended!! The cabin was warm, cozy, clean, and everything hygge!
